We stayed in site #5 for the month of December. When we first arrived, I had difficulty leveling the RV. This is because the wife would not stop jumping up and down inside the RV because she loved the view so much. She also said this is the most romantic campground we've ever been too. Not many campgrounds can make that claim! Although I had to work most of the time I was there on my computer, I was enjoying the view from the living room window.

Place looks great

December 2008 we didn't have a reservation anywhere and didn't realize everywhere would be booked up for the holidays, lucky for us not a lot of people knew about the new Grassy Key RV Park, so they had a great waterview place for our 40' 5th wheel toy hauler and we couldn"t have been happier. We put a few hundred miles on our motorcycles exploring north and south and north again and south again! Thanks! Joe & Heather

Saw the web site for Grassy key and called on Thanksgiving day and talked to Jack and he had Wendy call us back the next day. She was so helpful in booking a reservation for March 2010 and now can't wait till it's time to go. They both seem like such friendly people. I know we will have a great time. Will repost after our stay in Paradise.

Normally you don't post kudos, when they're deserved, until you've left a facility. But I'm sitting in my motor home in a waterfront site looking out at the Grassy RV Park boat basin thinking to myself how incredible this RV Park really is. Right now a fisherman is bringing his boat in, the sun is setting, a pelican is resting on the dock walkway, and a couple of small lizards are taking in what little sun is left. Wonderful, gentle breeze at the moment. The only thing missing is my sitting in the Tiki waiting for my pina colada to arrive!
